Valero Occupational Health Professional in MEMPHIS, Tennessee

Description:

Attends to the occupational and medical concerns of Valero employees.

  • Provides clinical emergency medical treatment for occupational injury or illness.
  • Provides clinical emergency care for non-occupational injury or illness.
  • Performs follow up care/treatment for occupational injury or illness.
  • Obtains and maintains accurate and complete medical records on employees.
  • Ensures the infirmary, medical equipment, and supplies are maintained and ready for use at all times.
  • Administers immunizations.
  • Performs case management of both work related and non-work related injuries and illnesses.
  • Performs Audiometric testing.
  • Coordinates drug and alcohol testing (post incident and for-cause).
  • Administers company policy in regards to drug and alcohol testing.

This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or higher level degree - or Associate's degree in Nursing or a Physician Assistant degree. * 3 years of professional level clinical or occupational health work experience in an industrial setting required. * Registered Nurse designation or Physician Assistant required. * Certified Audiometric Testing preferred.

All successful candidates must be eligible to obtain a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential). It is Valero’s policy that employees must wear this card at all times while working at the refinery. Please review eligibility criteria athttps://www.tsa.gov/for-industry/twic.

Position level and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
