Are you ready to join the world’s largest independent refiner? Valero is on the search for energetic and motivated students to join the Credit Departmentat theSan Antonio Headquarters. This internship will beginSummer 2024and will typically continue for a minimum of one-year. Responsibilities during the internship may include:

• Assists with reconciling accounts, early drafts, preparing exposure reports.
• Assists with customer financial analysis, ratios and metrics.
• Assists with pulling and analyzing various credit reports.
• Assists with special projects as needed.

This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.

Qualifications:
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Finance or Accounting required. * Overall GPA of 3.0 (or higher) on a 4.0 scale preferred. * Obtained at least 60 credit hours by the start of internship required. * Completion of the basic Accounting and Finance related courses by May 2024 preferred. * Graduation dates between May 2025 - December 2025 required. * Ability to work 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters and 40 hours per week during the summer required. * This is an onsite, in-person internship at the Valero Headquarters in San Antonio. Candidates are required to live within commuting distance to San Antonio, TX. * Knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel preferred.
